Portraiture, for me, is not merely about reproducing a likeness by the intricate details of my art but the reflection of the artistry of my sport and my race from the power of sprinters and the colours of culture I aim to convey the essence of athleticism and authenticity in every brushstroke.

I’ve created work surrounding my culture but what I enjoy best is the unique insight into sport, into the human stories behind the numbers. I explore the emotions in the faces of competitors in the ecstasy of triumph in hope to create a deeper connection between the viewer and the world of sports, inviting them to witness the pursuit of greatness.

From being both athlete and artist I’ve found a world where passion and dedication meet in the generational battle of success in both fields, of those who dare to push the limits.
