The Biles

‘The Biles’ is an acrylic on canvas painting in honour of the greatest gymnast of all time Simone Biles. The image is a star studded compilation of Simone at the most recent Olympic Games in Paris with 4 images alluding to her being the first female US gymnast to win 4 gold medals at a single games.
The title is in reference to the 5 signature moves she has named after her in the sport. The process included adding glitter and diamantés to the image just as gymnasts do to their leotards to stand out more in large arenas, I wanted this painting to stand out in every space it’s placed in.
