Fur
The luxury status historically prescribed to fur in the fashion industry is ridiculed in these images by the fact that it is completely overpowering the body. The figure becomes a hanger for which the coats rest upon, engulfing the body only allowing certain elements to peak through, bringing the audience back to the reality of the presence of a human form. I was drawn to these images as the drapery of the fur gave movement and invites intrigue to the photographs.
