Urban abstract – light on the wall of an alley at night.
This image was created during a long period of my life of pain and loss. In bringing my gaze to this dark and dirty place, I was amazed to find it transformed. As the Sufi poet Rumi said: ‘My essence is gold, hidden in dust’.
