Mary Swift is a London based artist, working in realistic style and traditional painting techniques with the strong illustrative element and decorative approach.Her art is inspired by birds and animals, glowing with the festive spirit, filled with magic of a fairytale, awe of surrounding beauty, and focused on the individual personality of every character she creates.
Coming from line of artists, having classical fine art education with degree in textiles and interior design, Mary works freely in all painting and graphic mediums, including oil, acrylic and watercolours, and in all scales from miniatures to murals.
Mary’s paintings have found their home in private collections all over the world.Mary is a business owner in the UK, engaged as art brand ambassador, producer of limited series of designed merchandise based on her originals, creating book illustrations and currently is official artist for Bird Life Austria, where her illustration was published and distributed in number of around 30.000 copies this year.
