I am Kiana Manu, a young portrait artist.
I have always been drawn to portraiture. Something that thousands of years ago you had to be wealthy, powerful or have a high status to have your portrait painted.
I have recently been looking at the merging of traditional renaissance art with modern figures and symbols, whilst also focusing on culture and representation.
