Queen Of Hearts
The windup key in the woman's mouth serves as a sarcastic metaphor for being treated as a doll or puppet, controlled by external expectations. Despite being forced to balance on the barcode imposed by others, she attempts to dance, another form of entertainment, with her arms outstretched beyond the confines of the frame. Her open arms symbolise an effort to break free from the constraints and reclaim her own self. By gaining control of the strings moving her limbs, she shows a desire to be able to get the control of her own body.
