Giclee Print on Hahnemühle fine art paper, Edition of 15
Inspired by Natasha Degen's marketing theories, this series of paintings is based on the process of understanding the relationship between fashion, art, and the market. Generation Z is explored by appropriating and redesigning fashion products to form a visual narrative. This collection of paintings reveals the relationship among art, fashion, and the market from the perspective of Asian queers and explores a series of issues of Generation Z by appropriating commodities to form context. These include gender gazing, fast-twisted love, materialism, and media fetishism.
