Blue Dawn with Candour

This work is acrylic on canvas and is from a new collection of paintings produced this year. My paintings are mirror objects that begin life as an honest as possible conversation with myself in hope that through interpretation the viewer can relate to and engage with the compositions on their own terms. My latest body of psychological portraits use cryptic, surreal imagery, symbols, and word art to cultivate relationships with the unconventional and imperfect beings, untethered to gender, colour and age, that lurk behind the persona.
