This work delves into the realm of abandoned urban spaces, reflecting on their shift from functional hubs to forgotten relics. Created using handmade pressed canvas and oil painting, the piece captures these neglected areas, emphasizing their loss of purpose and the passage of time. The inspiration stems from exploring the concept of time's impact on urban environments, focusing on spaces that once held significance but now stand empty and obsolete. My process involved meticulously documenting these locations and translating their essence onto canvas, creating a spatial paradox between "inside and outside." Through this approach, the work evokes themes of hesitation and tension, offering a visual commentary on the transient nature of urban spaces and the stories they leave behind.
