In this small painting I wanted to capture the depth and detail of what it would be like viewing mountains like this. I used acrylic paint and a fine brush to capture the detail on the trees and a palette knife to create the fine marks on the mountains. I really wanted to be able to make this painting as realistic as possible, making sure my eye to detail was perfect.
