Everything comes with a warning.

This mixed media painting symbolises the warning attached to every area. No matter how calm, relaxing and safe you may feel there is always a warning to follow these emotions. I have used paint in layers to capture an atmospheric environment which has been cut through by harsh lines of masked off paint. The soft against a sharp line forms conversation and adds another dynamic to a space which the view is invited into to think and become almost vulnerable for a split second as their emotions run away with them through the field. I have lightened the space with bold, energetic colours which have a positive stereotype attached to them.
The inspiration for this painting was to create a contrast and for the painting to stand out and carry itself within any space given.
