INSPIRATION

inspiration is all about the experience of a creative when they are going through what can be called 'art block'.Art block is where an artist can struggle to create anything new due to a lack of creativity and inspiration, something that I have suffered from many a time. I wanted to create a painting that represented what I do that helps me to recover from art block - going to galleries. Galleries allow you to expand your palette of artistic interest and delve into the world of other artists, seeing their techniques and their sources of inspiration has always recharged my batteries and has me rearing to create once I left. Therefore this painting works as some sort of hommage to all the other artwork that is out there and the importance as an artist to embrace the work of others.
