MIGRATION

MIGRATION is a testament to the process of CHANGE. The birds around the subject flying away from the hair represent the change within her that has already begun. Some birds migrate vast distances seasonally so I wanted to use the birds flying away across the sea to represent the magnitude of the change the subject was going through

The person in the back is feeding the birds as they do not want the birds to leave, representing the reluctance to change that a lot of us can express but despite our best efforts, the change continues, represented by the majority of birds continuing on their journey.

I needed to go through my own transformation and it was terrifying and I hesitated to go through it. However, looking back I'm grateful that I embraced it as it worked out in my favour.
