Excitement is a part of a body of work that uses mark making including lines,colour and shapes that explore how women of colour express joy. Each part of the series displays what joy looks like from within. My chosen mediums are acrylic, charcoal and oil pastel. They compliment one another and help to create depth and texture. This peice explores the explosive feelings of excitement from within and exudes positivity.
