A Tribute to My People

This artwork is inspired by a canvas from my solo exhibition, where visitors were invited to stick colorful stickers and "give me some colour." This interactive piece reflects my sculptures, which are predominantly white to symbolize the symptoms of Multiple Sclerosis that originate from the white spots seen on MRI scans. In this creation, I chose to bring one of those stickers to life in 3D, focusing on the color blue. The vibrant blue element stands in contrast to the white, highlighting the intersection of visibility and invisibility in chronic illness, and inviting viewers to engage with the often unseen aspects of living with MS.
