A new world

This painting is intended to contrast two different world. The world of nature and of beauty and the brutalised world of the city. The door stands ajar, which confronts the viewer with questions. Is the door opening to a brighter future where the planet is cared for and can be enjoyed by all or is the door about to slam shut on that beauty. Is the world about to become a concrete jungle? Maybe we are in a period of time where we still have a choice about what to do with that door. It is painted in acrylic on board.
