I am Orna Costelloe Dunne. I have an interest in fashion and textiles pieces that blur the lines between fashion and art. 

I work with a lot of different various found objects and materials processes like tapestry weaving, dying and printed textiles on the body. I did different weaving images on Cad and made it into a video and liked what different effects it made and was like why don't I projected these images onto the kimono? That may be cool.

I am working on a kimono weaving digital moving image pieces where they are bringing together CAD images and manipulated of my weaving samples projected onto my kimono in a myriad of colours. The projection of these images intrigued me as I captured it on the garment creating a visual spectacle that plays with colour and texture in a dynamic way and the effects it has on your eyes. 

My work aims to push the boundaries of fashion by embracing the digital world, where traditional craftsmanship meets technology.
