Richard McRae

Born in 1963, I have dedicated over forty years to the art of oil painting. Beginning my creative journey as a teenager, I quickly developed a deep passion for the medium, which has remained a constant throughout my life. I pursued a career as a full-time artist, during which he exhibited my work in various galleries, earning recognition for the conceptual understanding of visual representation

Over time, my focus shifted, and I began to explore new subjects in my art. Now at 61, I continues to paint with a renewed interest how the local area, specifically the urban and rural scenes of South East London and Kent, can be the springboard for exploring pictorial space . My recent work reflects a growing fascination with these environments, from the quiet corners of the countryside to the dynamic streets of the city.

While my earlier career saw a range of achievements, I now find fulfillment in just painting.
